Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you'll be responsible for managing and delivering a diverse portfolio of projects, primarily in the utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring project success and minimizing potential issues.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including risk registers, issue registers, and project schedules.
  • Lead and motivate project team members, ensuring a sense of team and clear understanding of goals and objectives.
  • Report and present project progress to senior management and board executives.

Requirements

  • Hold a 3rd-level relevant qualification (e.g., engineering, project management).
  • Hold a professional qualification awarded by a recognized chartered institute or association.
  • Minimum of five years' relevant experience in a role for a water utility client.
  • Successful past record of achievement in delivering water utility capital contracts.
  • Relevant experience of administering NEC Conditions of Contract and project management of large portfolios of capital projects.
