## Job Title: Apprentice Automotive Mechanic

## Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of our commercial vehicle workshop, you will be responsible for performing a range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures on a variety of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment.

## Key Responsibilities

* Perform routine maintenance and repair light/heavy goods vehicles using your own personal toolkit and access to specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern, fully equipped workshops.
* Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective vehicle maintenance and repair.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

## Requirements

* IMI Level 3 qualified in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent.
* Valid UK driving license.
* Flexible to service demands and able to work on a flexible shift rota.
