Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Assistant to join our team in Letchworth. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Finance Manager and assisting with the implementation of a new Accounts System.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generating sales invoices and reconciling debtors
  • Posting ecommerce sales and reconciling transactions with PayPal, Stripe, Amazon, and eBay
  • Assisting with fortnightly payroll and timesheet recording
  • Holiday calculations and journal entry
  • Bank reconciliations and monthly VAT returns
  • Petty cash management and providing cover for the Purchase Ledger team
  • Ad hoc reporting and general admin support to the team
Requirements:
  • Previous Accounts Assistant experience is essential
  • Must have experience with bank reconciliations and VAT returns
  • Intermediate user of Excel and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Team player with a hands-on approach
