Sheet Metal Worker Job Description

We are seeking skilled Sheet Metal Workers to join our team at BAE Systems in Barrow. As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal items for the construction of Astute and Dreadnought class submarines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal items to meet project requirements
  • Confidently use welding and fabrication equipment on submarines under construction
  • Work with pipe protection, glam plates, and small support systems
