Holt Executive is collaborating with a prominent satellite communications (SATCOM) organization, delivering secure voice and data solutions to a worldwide clientele.

This company also offers integrated IT and engineering services across various sectors, including maritime, enterprise, defense, and government.

We are in search of a seasoned Technical Product Leader who possesses a strong technical foundation along with a keen commercial and customer-centric approach.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to comprehend business technology and convert it into engaging, customer-oriented commercial products. This position demands exceptional communication skills to effectively convey product offerings both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities for the Technical Product Leader:
Act as the Technical Product Advocate for all offerings and services. Collaborate with sales channels throughout the organization and with key clients globally.
Serve as the technical product authority for all offerings, services, and associated manufacturers and satellite operators.
Ensure that sales teams and other departments are kept informed about current and upcoming services and market offerings.

Generate or adapt technical content into customer-focused materials, including proposals, white papers, brochures, application notes, user manuals, technical service updates, and contributions for press releases.

Assist in formulating the go-to-market strategy.

Support the Head of Product and Marketing and the Commercial Product Manager in understanding technical product positioning, key advantages, and target audiences.

Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Manager and Marketing Executives to maintain up-to-date marketing and sales materials, user manuals, FAQs, and sales fact sheets.

Develop product marketing strategies and value-added services to establish the organization as a leading provider in targeted markets.

Assist in the marketing launch of new products and services, including marketing literature, sales presentations, FAQs, user manuals, internal process documents, terms and conditions, and sales fact sheets.

Conduct market analysis to define requirements for current and future products, supported by visits to clients and non-clients.

Drive the development of new products or services across the organization by collaborating with engineering, marketing, logistics, and support teams on market requirements and positioning.

Provide technical product expertise alongside Systems Engineering teams to introduce new products and services internally, during client meetings, demonstrations, events, and throughout the organization.

Gather requirements for both internal and external software development initiatives.
Oversee in-house projects to ensure timely and successful completion.
Conduct product competitor analysis and comparisons, producing materials for both internal and external use.
Manage hardware manufacturers for technology products, assessing new product capabilities and integrating these with existing products and infrastructure.

Key Skills and Experience Required by the Technical Product Leader:

Essential:

Demonstrated experience in Technical Product Management.
Strong knowledge of IP networking.
Background in mobile satellite communications, telecommunications, or technology sectors.
Experience managing hardware suppliers and assessing product capabilities.
Proficient in requirements gathering and application.
Candidates must be willing to undergo necessary security clearance.
Desirable: Familiarity with contemporary digital satellite communications and IT systems.
Knowledge of VSAT networks and infrastructure.
Experience with operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
