Be the Hero on the Roadside

As a Roadside Recovery Driver with The AA, you'll be the first point of contact for our members in need of assistance. Your role will be to provide a safe and reassuring presence, ensuring our customers feel supported and cared for during their time of need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide roadside assistance to our members
  • Operate a range of vehicles, including HGV recovery trucks, to transport vehicles to a garage for repair
  • Work independently, using your expertise to solve a variety of issues and provide solutions to our customers
  • Partner with customers to understand their needs and provide a personalized service
Requirements:
  • A full driving category C driving licence (HGV 2) and ideally a CE (HGV 1) licence too
  • A Driver CPC (certificate of professional competence) qualification and a digital drivers/tachograph card
  • Comfortable adapting to new technology and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Happy to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays
