About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pharmacist to lead our Medicines Optimisation Team in South East London. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving high-value medicines optimisation across our partnerships, including public health, local council, voluntary sector, and primary care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement medicines optimisation services in challenging environments.
  • Negotiate and implement change in practice, leveraging your extensive experience in multidisciplinary working and process management.
  • Collaborate with lead clinicians and healthcare professionals to drive partnership working across organisations.
  • Analyse complex financial and clinical data, presenting insights to senior stakeholders and a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Re-prioritise ongoing work and projects, adjusting to changing requirements and organisational needs.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy, with current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Post-graduate qualification in clinical/community pharmacy or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Extensive experience in developing medicines optimisation services, negotiating and implementing change, and multidisciplinary working.
  • Knowledge of various sources of prescribing data and GP systems, including ePACT2 and EMIS.
