Product Line Manager, Telematics

Axscend Ltd, a UK-based trailer telematics specialist, is seeking an experienced Product Line Manager to join our team. As part of the SAF-HOLLAND group, we bring over 140 years of trailer expertise and the support of over 3000 colleagues globally.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the regional product line agenda, prioritizing requirements based on what's best for SAF-HOLLAND/Haldex, and coordinating organizational agreement and execution. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

Product Management and Strategy
  • Develop and implement regional product strategy
  • Generate product roadmap based on company strategy
  • Create business plan, including growth and profitability, overall investment, and manufacturing recommendations
Product Development and Support
  • Coordinate customer-related activities inside and outside the company
  • Support sales department in preparation of quotations and contract conclusion
  • Decide on product launch plans, product positioning, and strategy
Market Observation and Analysis
  • Continuous analysis of market, customers, and competition
  • Follow up market trends and megatrends
  • Creation of sales forecasts and competitive comparisons

Requirements:

  • Minimum BSc in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable
  • Additional education in management or business administration an advantage
  • APQP training and experience
  • Demonstrable experience in product management and B2B
  • Experience in automotive sector, especially commercial vehicle segment
