We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Farrans Construction. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a vital role in providing professional guidance and support to managers and employees across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a first point of contact for HR-related enquiries, providing guidance on company policies, procedures, and best practice.
- Support the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees into the organisation.
- Support managers in handling employee relations issues such as disciplinary's, grievances, and performance improvement plans.
- Promote workplace health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Provide advice on managing workplace absence and support the organisation's policies and practices.
- Advise and guide managers on performance review processes, including setting objectives, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
- Successfully oversee the employee offboarding process.
- Keep up to date with employment laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance with legal requirements.
- Contribute to the development and updating of HR policies and procedures.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and track HR metrics.
- Prepare HR reports and take notes in meetings as and when required.
- Analyse existing workflows and recommend improvements to reduce manual efforts and increase automation in HR processes.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- In-depth prior experience in a HR advisory or generalist role.
- Proven experience with HR Projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Hold a full driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with the complete MS Office Suite.
