Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team as a Financial Controller. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the management team and board of directors
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage the company's cash flow and liquidity
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, suppliers, and customers
  • Manage the company's financial risk and ensure that all financial transactions are properly authorized and recorded
  • Develop and implement financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the management team and other departments

Requirements:

  • Accountancy qualification (part qualified will be considered)
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, Sage etc.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
