The selected candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing game design and creative visions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft compelling AAA console and PC games. Working closely with our Product Manager, Producer, and other Directors, the Creative Director will be responsible for the quality of their product and its creative health once live.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute game design and creative visions
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams to build compelling AAA console and PC games
- Coach and advise the team on knowledge and skills development, staying current on industry trends and best practices
- Assume responsibility for the quality of all creative tasks in projects, including concept development, pitching, prototyping, and production
- Mentor and train creative staff while maintaining current industry knowledge
- Provide support to Game Designers in the application of the business model for their game's design
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience directing a product in a leadership role with proven success, having shipped at least 1 AAA project
- Experience with Unreal or Unity on AAA PC-Console or Mobile games
- Solid experience overseeing projects through pre-production, production, and live operations
- Relevant experience managing a game development process using industry milestones
- Ability to effectively pitch game concepts in various formats
- Video game history demonstrating solid creativity and innovation skills
