We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Energy Planning Lead to join our team at National Grid. As a key member of our Regional Energy Planning team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing regional energy strategic plans that support our vision for a cleaner, greener, and more affordable future for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement regional energy strategic plans that align with our company's goals and objectives
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize regional energy needs and opportunities
  • Engage with stakeholders, including local authorities, energy distribution companies, and other key players in the energy sector, to ensure that our plans reflect the needs and priorities of the region
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Provide technical expertise and support to regional teams to ensure successful implementation of energy plans
Requirements
  • Proven experience in energy planning and policy development, with a strong understanding of the energy sector and its complexities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
