About the Role

We are seeking an experienced clinician to join our community children and adolescent mental health team on the Isle of Wight. As a CAMHS Inreach Outreach Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing specialist support and intervention to children, young people, and their families within a range of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to children and young people's presentations and admissions to hospital due to psychiatric crisis, with support from the team.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist support and intervention to children, young people, and their families.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to support recovery and deliver interventions in the least restrictive environment.
Requirements
  • Professional degree or equivalent qualification and registration in nursing, social work, OT, or other relevant profession with related CAMHS experience.
  • Past qualifying training in CAMHS or therapeutic approaches with children, young people, and families.
