Job Description

**Job Title:** Primary School Educator

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Primary School Educator to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As an Early Career Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate young minds in a supportive primary school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and informative lessons to Reception pupils, ensuring all pupils make progress.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants to create excellent learning environments.
  • Manage challenging behavior in a positive, proactive, and consistent manner.
  • Differentiate lessons appropriately to suit the needs and learning styles of all pupils.
  • Use varied methods of assessment to assess pupil progress.
  • Display high levels of enthusiasm, energy, and positivity when working with children.
  • Work effectively with Teaching Assistants to ensure children receive the best possible educational experience.

Requirements:

  • An Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service).
  • QTS and Primary Teaching experience.
  • Experience of short, medium, and long-term planning.
  • Experience of utilizing a range of methods to assess pupil progress.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to build rapport.
  • A positive and resilient attitude towards teaching and work.
  • Experience of teaching within the UK.
  • A genuine passion for teaching.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • A commitment to CPD.
