Job Title: Primary School Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Primary School Teacher to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and informative lessons to Reception pupils, ensuring all pupils make progress and are taught in a way that suits their individual needs and learning styles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and teaching lessons that inspire and motivate pupils
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and teaching assistants to create excellent learning environments
  • Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive, and consistent manner
  • Differentiating lessons to suit the needs and learning styles of all pupils
  • Using varied methods of assessment to assess pupil progress
  • Displaying high levels of enthusiasm, energy, and positivity when working with children

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service)
  • QTS and Primary Teaching experience
  • Experience of short, medium, and long-term planning
  • Experience of utilising a range of methods to assess pupil progress
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to build rapport
  • A positive and resilient attitude towards teaching and work
  • Experience of teaching within the UK
  • A genuine passion for teaching
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • A commitment to CPD
