Position: Fund Controller

Role Overview:

As a pivotal member of our dynamic fund accounting division, you will be instrumental in the success of our intricate hedge fund operations. In the capacity of Fund Controller, your responsibilities will encompass managing investor allocations, supervising accounting procedures, and collaborating with various teams to guarantee precise financial reporting. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a qualified and seasoned accountant to significantly influence the finance sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate investor allocation and fee structures.
  • Oversee accounting for underlying investments.
  • Manage non-trading expense items and process invoice payments.
  • Collaborate with external Fund Administrator to address inquiries.
  • Engage in the fund audit process for financial statements.
  • Address fund-related inquiries from different departments.
  • Assist in regulatory reporting and share class hedging activities.
  • Implement processes to enhance controls and improve workload efficiency.
  • Advance fund accounting infrastructure through various projects.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant, ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
  • Degree educated.
  • 2-4 years' PQE in asset management accounting.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Professionalism and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
