We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to enhance our Utilities division.
Location: Northern Ireland, Belfast - hybrid working options available, with occasional site visits required.
Contract Type: Permanent - full-time with flexible hours upon request.
Key Responsibilities:
In the role of Quantity Surveyor, you will collaborate with the Contracts Management team to ensure the effective execution of a bespoke £100M target cost gas construction and maintenance contract.
Your daily tasks will encompass:
- Monitoring, verifying, and generating reports on costs and values using Causeway Project Accounting (CPA).
- Calculating productivity bonuses and preparing monthly and final payment applications, along with assessing and processing sub-contract payment requests.
- Producing weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc commercial reports, including monthly Cost Reporting Values (CRVs).
- Accurately forecasting, tracking, and reporting project costs and values by analyzing cost reports and interpreting financial data to reconcile costs and values.
- Preparing cost estimates and undertaking various ad-hoc tasks to support the broader team and business objectives.
Candidate Profile:
This Quantity Surveyor position is ideal for individuals who:
- Possess experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Accounts Manager.
- Have a background in managing high volume, low value projects.
- Exhibit strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Have experience in client-facing roles.
- Hold a valid driving license.
