About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Developer to join our team at Alliance Automotive Group. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our database systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of both front-end and back-end functionality, as well as maintaining and updating our databases.
  • Resolve daily data load errors and performance issues, and implement database design improvements.
  • Enhance data integrity and implement data management measures.
  • Contribute to defining and maintaining stored procedures.
  • Develop and maintain queries and procedures.
  • Perform weekly data accuracy and consistency checks, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain and enhance our MS Access application, creating application enhancements and interfaces.
  • Analyze product data and create bespoke analytical reports.
  • Assist with monthly reporting and ad-hoc data tasks.
  • Investigate queries from all levels of the business through data manipulation and analysis.
  • Maintain internal cross-team relationships.
Requirements
  • Strong SQL skills, including T-SQL.
  • SSMS knowledge.
  • ETL experience.
  • Microsoft SQL Server expertise.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and logical process thinking.
  • Results-driven with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
  • 1-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with SSIS packages and SQL Server Agent Jobs.
  • Exposure to Access VBA, particularly Windows Forms.
  • Data Analysis expertise.
  • Experience with Qlikview/Power Bi.
  • Automotive industry experience.
