Job Summary
Hunter Selection is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the planned maintenance, inspection, and continuous improvement of mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Respond to breakdowns in a timely and effective manner to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity
- Participate in ongoing project work to improve processes and systems
- Install, commission, and maintain all equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and efficiently
- Record details of maintenance activities to meet regulatory requirements and company standards
- Communicate effectively with the engineering team to ensure that all issues and results are shared and understood
- Collaborate with other engineers to achieve common goals and objectives
- SOURCE AND ORDER SPARE PARTS AS NEEDED
Requirements
- Experience in fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of industrial machinery
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Able to read mechanical drawings and other technical documents
- Skilled in the use of workshop equipment and bench skills
- Knowledge of steam, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to use access and lifting equipment such as FLTs or MEWPs
Working Hours
The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including:
Week 1: Sunday - Thursday Nights (10.00am)
Week 2: Monday - Friday Evenings (2.00pm)
Week 3: Monday - Friday Days (8.00pm)
Week 4: Monday - Friday Earlies (6.00pm)
