About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at First Bus. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet of buses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle faults, including mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as servicing and inspections, to ensure vehicles are in good working order.
  • Work safely and efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and industry developments to enhance your skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Minimum level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Full Cat B license and willingness to obtain PCV license.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic techniques.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
