Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Care Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the care home, ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care and support.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the care team, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident, ensuring that their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.
- Participate in staff training and development, ensuring that all team members have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional care.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or above.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a residential care setting.
- Strong understanding of the needs of elderly residents, including those with dementia.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
