We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. As an Adult Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with service users and their carers to develop and implement care plans that meet their individual needs.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide urgent care services, including community-based interventions and hospital liaison.
- Contribute to the development of urgent care services, including the design and implementation of new initiatives and programs.
- Participate in team meetings and activities, and work effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Follow safeguarding policies and protocols for children and vulnerable adults, and share relevant information with other agencies as appropriate.
- Be aware of and act within the requirements of the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation at all times.
- Experience of clinical practice within the urgent care setting, preferably with prior experience of community-based urgent care services.
- Ability to work collaboratively with service users, carers, and other healthcare professionals to achieve shared goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality mental health services and contributing to ongoing service development.
- Ability to work shift patterns, including nights and weekends, as required.
