Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Test and Repair Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, fault-finding, and repairing equipment, as well as completing test reports and documentation in accordance with customer requirements and quality management system standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough testing and fault-finding of equipment to identify and repair defects.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and detailed test reports and documentation.
  • Collaborate with design engineering, test equipment design, and sales teams to ensure customer requirements are met and product quality and performance are maintained.
  • Stay up-to-date with company quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and contribute to improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in testing and repairing equipment, with a strong understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Desirable: HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
