About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior RME Technician to join our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Supervise technicians on shift to support their development and act as the first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
  • Solve issues in equipment to reduce downtime for operations and ensure smooth processing of packages.
  • Support the development of new and efficient ways of working, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes across the EU network.
A Day in the Life

In this role, you will lead a team to ensure that everyone has the equipment they need and that it is running properly. You will monitor processes to ensure that regulations and policies are followed and that preventative maintenance is carried out to increase equipment uptime.

About the Team

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment across our global network of fulfilment centres. We work together to ensure that our equipment is performing at its best, and we are committed to innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • Apprentice trained with HNC, HND, NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in a technical leadership role, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written local language and basic proficiency in English.
