Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at LJB Recruit. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within our data centre operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within our data centre operations.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  3. Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Projects Director and compile weekly reports.
  4. Health and Safety: Manage Health and Safety across all UK Data Centre projects.
  5. Scope Management: Ensure project scope is clearly defined and minimize variations and cost increases.
  6. Coordination: Coordinate works to ensure timely delivery, liaising with construction teams and contractors.
  7. Commissioning: Ensure completion of final commissioning prior to handover to the Operations Team.
  8. Support: Provide project management support across any project in the UK.
  9. Reporting: Regularly report on project progress to the Project Director.
  10. Travel: Travel, including overnight stays for onsite meetings.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Previous experience in a critical environment, with Data Centre experience being an advantage.
  2. Project Management: Substantial Project Management experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
  3. Skills: Strong Project Management skills in a technical/construction environment.
  4. Financial Management: Experience in managing budgets and financial tracking.
  5. Software: Good working knowledge of MS Office and MS Project.
  6. Change Management: Demonstrable change management skills.
  7. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in a similar environment.
