We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team at Ten Live Limited, a leading global recruitment and resource management company. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of large generator sets as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with electrical fitters and semi-skilled fitters to assemble generator sets.
- Maintain all plant and electrical equipment to the minimum legal standard.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are upheld at all times.
Requirements:
- Qualification in a Mechanical discipline.
- Team coordination skills.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with systems and ability to interpret electrical schematics and instrumentation drawings.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Engineering HNC standard minimum.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Personal Qualities:
- Organized and systems-oriented.
- Detail and accuracy-oriented.
- Problem-solving ability and logical decision-making thought process.
- Actively shares knowledge and is PC literate.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Results-oriented and able to work with and through people to make the most of their skills.
Working Hours:
- Dayshift - Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.
- 0630 to 0730 start times (40 hours basic working week). Overtime available.
