Job Title: Head of Repairs Management
Location: Home based - Regular travel across the Southeast of England
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum + Bonus

Mainstay Recruitment Solutions Ltd is delighted to be partnered with a large hard services contractor. We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Repairs Management to oversee the day-to-day delivery of reactive repairs on a housing contract, supporting a large community and managing a team of skilled mobile tradespeople and a dedicated scheduling team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the repairs programme, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and high-quality outcomes.
- Take ownership of all aspects of the repairs process, from scoping and budgeting to contract management and delivery of value for money.
- Monitor the quality of work, resolve issues, and implement lessons learned for continuous service improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including CDM and asbestos control, maintaining rigorous adherence to all relevant policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure seamless communication and satisfaction throughout the repair lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of housing maintenance, construction, and service delivery.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and direct teams.
- Expertise in contract and budget management, with a focus on delivering value for money.
- A proactive approach to driving policy changes and service improvements.
- Expertise in compliance, health and safety, and project management to help drive operational success.
