Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at German Doner Kebab. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading our restaurant team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales and profit targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of restaurant staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food products.
- Oversee and manage restaurant operations to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and control stock inventory and analyze consumption.
- Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Appraise team members' performance and provide feedback to improve their performance.
- Lead by example and promote a positive working environment.
- Monitor and control cash handling and petty cash.
- Perform any other duties as designated by the Operations Manager.
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a Supervisor or Duty Manager in the food industry.
- Demonstrated experience in guest service management.
- Extensive knowledge of guest care and customer service.
- Proficiency in English.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills.
- Financial management skills.
