The Role:

We're seeking a skilled Senior Commercial Officer to join our Procurement Service, working closely with legal professionals and subject matter experts to develop contracts, terms, and conditions. Your responsibilities will include assessing sustainability and social value, developing evaluation models, and ensuring compliance with legal and Council requirements.

You'll need to have experience in procurement or commissioning environments, managing tenders, and researching markets and suppliers. Excellent communication, negotiation, project management, and financial awareness skills are essential. Qualifications include literacy and numeracy-based Grade A-C passes at A Level, and either a CIPS Level 4 qualification or a related graduate level discipline or equivalent practical experience.
