Print Operative Job Description

NextGen Recruits is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Print Operative to join our client's team at their leading Can manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
  • Adhere to BRC requirements and maintain a high standard of quality.
  • Set and run the printing line efficiently, minimizing downtime and waste.
  • Prepare materials for the next job on the programme and ensure they are in good order.
  • Produce each job according to specification, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Inform the Shift Manager of any machine failures, defective materials, or other issues.
  • Isolate non-conforming product and report to the Shift Manager and Quality Control.
  • Hand over to the on-coming Printer and inform them of the line's state.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth production process.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, adhering to ISO 9001 requirements.
