Job Title: Primary School Teacher Position

Job Type: Long-term contract

Location: Primary School in Leigh

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary School Teacher to join our team on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a class of 28 children, with a focus on delivering engaging lessons and ensuring students complete their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
  • Guiding students through the curriculum, marking work, and setting home working tasks
  • Upholding the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience teaching pupils in a Primary School setting
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Confidence in managing classes of pupils
  • Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
