About the Role:

F.P.T. Industries Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics function, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our logistics department, ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the logistics team, including team leaders, operators, and administrators.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to ensure that all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure that all stock is properly stored and maintained.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with export control legislation.
  • Collaborate with the management team to set and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement a quality control program to ensure that all products meet the required standards.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • ERP/MRP experience essential.
  • Full driving license.
  • Leadership or management qualification.
  • Supply Chain/Logistics or relevant experience.
  • Forklift license.

Desirable Skills:

  • Continuous improvement experience.
  • Knowledge of Import and Export compliance.
  • SAP system knowledge.
