Property Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Property Surveyor to join our dynamic property services team at Broadacres Housing. As a Property Surveyor, you will be responsible for assessing the maintenance and repair requirements of our assets, ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct property inspections to diagnose repairs and identify required remedial works.
- Manage repair-related activities for customers' homes and communal areas, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Provide expert advice to customers on lifestyle-related condensation issues.
- Investigate customer complaints and identify solutions to manage them to completion.
- Carry out stock condition surveys and maintain relevant systems to maximise component lifecycles.
- Conduct grounds maintenance inspections and manage subsequent works with contractors or in-house teams.
- Liaise with departments, customers, and external agencies to specify disabled adaptations in line with policy and regulations.
- Create work specifications, produce tender documentation, and manage the tender process to the award stage.
- Assist the Health and Safety team with contractor inspections and ensure compliance with CDM regulations and health and safety requirements.
- Liaise with external agencies, consultants, or local authorities, including report compilation and submission of planning and building control documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in building and planning legislation and undertake professional development training.
- Proven experience in property surveying, maintenance, and repairs.
- Strong commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Sound knowledge of building pathology, construction methods, and materials.
- Strong ability to manage a varied workload and meet performance targets.
- Good understanding of CDM regulations and general health and safety requirements.
