Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to contribute to our dynamic therapy team at a premier rehabilitation facility, focusing on intensive in-patient care for individuals with traumatic and acquired brain injuries.
Our center is equipped with 23 Level 2 and 29 Level 1 neurorehabilitation beds, providing a comprehensive environment for recovery.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform neuropsychological evaluations and implement cognitive rehabilitation strategies.
- Address challenging behaviors utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and execute tailored rehabilitation plans.
- Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers regarding brain injury recovery.
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to BPS and HCPC standards.
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service enhancement initiatives.
- Provide training and educational resources to the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
- HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist.
- Postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology.
- Proven experience in brain injury rehabilitation and behavior management program development.
- Excellent collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team.
Working Hours:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Initial 3-month contract, with potential for extension.
