Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible individual to join our team as a Duty Manager at East Riding Leisure Withernsea. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a busy multi-purpose leisure facility and will assist the General Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the leisure facility, including supervising staff and ensuring the centre is clean and safe for customers.
  • Assist the General Manager in implementing policies and procedures to improve customer satisfaction and centre performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, staff, and stakeholders to promote a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Monitor and control centre finances, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RLSS Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
  • An RLSS Pool Plant Operators Certificate.
  • First Aid at Work certification.
  • An IOSH Managing Safety award.
  • Experience in sports and leisure is essential.
  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
