Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Senior Java Developer to join our Technology team on a permanent basis. As a Senior Java Developer, you will design, develop, test, and support capabilities in our digital experience platform to create competitive advantage for SThree.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, test, and support capabilities in our digital experience platform.
  2. Work with business stakeholders to understand opportunities and design solutions that deliver the required outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with other technology teams to design and deliver end-to-end capabilities.
  4. Integrate solutions with other systems in SThree's technology landscape.
  5. Focus on automation across infrastructure, testing, deployment, operations, and security.

Requirements

  1. Extensive experience of building web applications on a Java technology stack.
  2. Experience of RESTful API design and implementation.
  3. Experience of working in Agile software development teams and across the full software development life cycle.
  4. Previous experience of building solutions using Life ray DXP would be beneficial.
  5. Good understanding of Azure Integration Services (API Management, Service Bus, Event Hub).
  6. Good understanding of Microsoft Identity Management solutions (Azure AD, Azure AD B2C).
  7. Good understanding of cloud computing architectures and fundamentals like security, performance, and scalability, with experience of working with cloud technologies in Azure.
  8. Strong knowledge of software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
  9. Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.

Qualifications

  1. Typically educated to bachelor degree level in a related subject (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering).
  2. Ability to work flexibly from home and the office, in line with our hybrid working principles.
