Key Responsibilities:

The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all finance-related tasks are executed with precision and efficiency. This role will serve as the primary contact for stakeholders regarding financial inquiries and will be tasked with establishing and maintaining compliance processes and internal audits to uphold our high standards.

Key duties include:

  • Conducting commercial analysis and monitoring sales trends across various customer and product categories
  • Overseeing customer pricing strategies and margin assessments
  • Identifying expense trends and implementing cost-saving initiatives
  • Leading the annual budgeting process and financial forecasting
  • Managing the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely reviews and submissions
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and handling accruals and adjustments
  • Calculating monthly tax provisions and preparing VAT/GST returns
  • Generating cash flow reports and forecasts
  • Supervising the finance team, including the Management Accountant and accounts payable/receivable staff
  • Coordinating the annual audit for UK entities
  • Refining financial controls, policies, and procedures as necessary
  • Performing additional tasks as required

Essential Qualifications:

  • Part-qualified in CIMA, ACA, or ACCA with relevant experience in a similar capacity
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
  • Experience in supervising and managing finance team members
  • Proficiency in system development, including report design and procedural enhancements
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Professional demeanor with a positive and empathetic approach to stakeholder interactions
  • Proactive and hands-on attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and development
