Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead Role

At EDClass, we are committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people. As our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Questionnaire Alerts and Safeguarding Alerts, ensuring adherence to our policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with the Teaching Team and Account Managers to address safeguarding concerns and report incidents.
  • Collaborate with the Senior DSL to handle major safeguarding incidents, including communicating with relevant authorities.
  • Update Zoho CRM accurately and timely with regards to safeguarding alerts.
  • Conduct regular EDSupport chat checks to ensure safeguarding concerns are not missed.
  • Complete Safeguarding Incident Report Forms for major incidents, providing a detailed and accurate account of events.
