About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter Assembler to join our client's team in Aylesbury. As a Mechanical Fitter Assembler, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical fitting and assembly work, working from engineering drawings to complete assemblies, and assembling heat exchanger units from pre-manufactured parts.
Key Responsibilities
- To carry out mechanical fitting and assembly work to a high standard of manufacturing
- Work from engineering drawings to complete assemblies, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Assemble heat exchanger units from pre-manufactured parts, following established procedures
- Participate in quality control processes to maintain the highest standard of work
- Operate fixed and handheld machinery, adhering to safety guidelines
- Comply with company health and safety policies and procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects, offering valuable insights and ideas
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company standards
- Carry out production duties as directed by Production Supervision, ensuring timely completion of tasks
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in production in a manufacturing industry, with a mechanical qualification
- Compliance with all Health & Safety requirements and procedures
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:00
