About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Rota Administrator to join our team at Practice Plus Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for creating and managing rotas to ensure that our clinical and operational staff are adequately covered.

Your primary focus will be on creating accurate rotas, using shift pattern information and contacting bank and locum staff to arrange shifts. You will also be responsible for finalizing rotas on a long-term basis and arranging immediate cover when required.

In addition to your rotas work, you will be in contact with new staff on a regular basis, arranging training and inductions, and ensuring that they have supplied any outstanding paperwork before commencing their first shift.

You will also be responsible for reporting any queries and problems that arise, assisting in investigations where necessary, and providing administration support for the Rota Manager in a variety of other duties.

Shifts for this role will be between 07:30am - 18:00pm, Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating and managing rotas to ensure adequate staff coverage
  • Arranging shifts with bank and locum staff
  • Finalizing rotas on a long-term basis
  • Arranging immediate cover when required
  • Reporting queries and problems, and assisting in investigations
  • Providing administration support for the Rota Manager
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You will also need to have a strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience of working in a similar role, or in a related field, would be advantageous.
