About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Planning Director to join our team at RocketMill. As a key member of our strategy and planning department, you will be responsible for developing and executing media strategies that drive business growth and success for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement media strategies that align with client business objectives and priorities
  • Lead the development of cross-channel media plans, ensuring alignment with client goals and measurement frameworks
  • Collaborate with our creative team to ensure campaign concepts and executions align with planned media activations
  • Present media strategies and plans to senior client stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise communication
  • Support the client leadership team in maintaining strong working relationships with clients
  • Contribute to business development and marketing efforts, identifying new opportunities for growth and innovation

Requirements

  • Proven experience in planning cross-channel media campaigns, with a strong understanding of multiple media channels
  • Strong knowledge of analytics and measurement technologies, with the ability to work with data to forecast performance across channels
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Rigorous approach to market and audience research, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities
  • Numerate, with the ability to work with data to drive business decisions

Desirable Skills

  • Hands-on channel experience in an activation role, with a strong understanding of the media landscape
  • Experience working with non-paid channels, with a strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges they present
  • Experience working with non-digital channels, with a strong understanding of the media landscape and the ability to adapt to changing trends
