Since its inception, Navigo Health and Social Care CIC has been dedicated to delivering both low and high-intensity psychological therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, couples therapy, and counseling for depression. Our clinical team comprises High Intensity Therapists, Counselors, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, and Employment Advisors.
We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual qualified as a Children and Young People Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) or Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to work specifically with individuals aged 16-25. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of this pathway alongside other healthcare professionals. The role primarily involves providing low-intensity CBT interventions across various settings, including group sessions, individual consultations, and remote support.
Key Responsibilities
Interviews will be conducted by the service manager, clinical lead, and a service user representative. A brief role-play exercise will be part of the interview process.
Candidates must be registered or in the process of registration with relevant professional bodies. Applications from current trainees nearing qualification will also be considered.
Our service offers a blend of remote and in-person therapy, with clinicians working part of their time from the office and community settings, including GP practices, with the option to work a maximum of two days from home.

Job Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Manage referrals in accordance with established protocols.
- Support individuals with common mental health issues in their recovery journey.
- Conduct patient-centered interviews to identify areas for change and assess risk.
- Determine the suitability of new referrals and refer clients to appropriate services as necessary.
- Provide information and support for evidence-based low-intensity psychological treatments, including guided self-help and pharmacological options.
- Involve family members in the treatment process when appropriate.
- Adhere to activity contracts regarding client contacts and clinical sessions to minimize waiting times.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings related to referrals and client treatment.
- Maintain accurate records of clinical activities in line with service protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective step-up and step-down care.
- Integrate employment-related issues into therapy and work closely with the Employment Advisor service.
- Uphold inclusive values that promote recovery and respect diversity.
Training and Supervision
- Fulfill all training requirements, including practical and academic assessments.
- Apply learning from training in practice.
- Receive supervision from educational providers to meet required standards.

Qualifications
Essential
- Undergraduate degree in Psychology or a related health field.
- Postgraduate qualification in Psychological Wellbeing Practice (CWP or PWP).
- NHS Talking Therapies qualification as a psychological wellbeing practitioner.
- Registration with BABCP or BPS.
Desirable
- Experience in mental health services.
- Prior experience in IAPT/Talking Therapies.
