Area Representative

The Educational Institute of Scotland is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Area Officer team. As an Area Officer, you will play a vital role in representing members, recruiting and retaining members, providing training, and supporting local associations.
Key Responsibilities:- Represent members in grievance and disciplinary matters
- Recruit and retain members through effective communication and outreach
- Develop and deliver training programs to support members
- Negotiate with employers on behalf of members
- Provide organizational support to local associations
Area Officers will have the opportunity to work closely with the General Secretary and Assistant Secretary (Employment Relations) to determine the geographical areas they will be responsible for. This role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of members and contribute to the growth and success of the Institute.
