**Job Summary**

The Cambian Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in delivering exceptional care services to children and young people. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Residential Manager and staff in achieving the aims and objectives of our care provision.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Assist the Residential Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the care provision

• Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager

• Support and manage staff to enable them to meet the needs of children and young people

• Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate

• Manage child protection concerns and complaints

• Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people

• Offer supervision and support to senior staff in line with care quality standards and children's homes regulations

**Requirements**

• Diploma 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

• Working towards or holds a level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare

• Current driving license

• 1 year's relevant supervisory experience in the care sector
