Senior Modelling Engineer

MASS is seeking to enhance our engineering team with a dedicated Senior Modelling Engineer. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Engineering Manager to innovate and implement advanced capabilities within our projects.

As a key member of the team, reporting to the Principal Modelling Engineer, you will oversee and facilitate development Sprints, ensuring that project milestones are met efficiently.

Your expertise will position you as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the project, serving as a vital resource for stakeholder inquiries and guidance.

To excel in this position, a strong foundation in Physics and Mathematical principles at a Degree level is essential, along with proven experience in modelling engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain System Design Documentation
  • Utilize coding skills in MATLAB and Simulink for model development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading a small team
  • Familiarity with the FPGA build process, particularly for Xilinx targets
  • Proficiency in Requirements Management using Simulink Requirements

Essential Criteria:

  • Must be a UK National eligible to work in the UK
  • Ability to obtain and maintain UK Government SC-level security clearance
  • Salary is negotiable based on experience
