Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at SecureCloud+.

About the Role

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud solutions that meet the highest standards of performance, cost-efficiency, and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions are optimized for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
  • Oversee and manage complex Azure cloud deployments, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement a continuous improvement approach in cloud system development, working with internal teams to ensure changes are delivered with minimal risk to downtime.
  • Actively seek and implement opportunities to enhance system performance and stability.
  • Identify and recommend new automation opportunities to improve cost management, service performance, and security response.
  • Implement and enforce robust security policies and best practices for all cloud environments.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot to ensure continuous uptime and resource optimization.
  • Proactively address potential performance bottlenecks and ensure cost-effective resource management.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and IT teams to support and integrate cloud solutions.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues across the business, promoting security best practices and helping teams develop cloud expertise.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for cloud architecture, policies, and processes.
  • Provide technical support and serve as the final point of escalation for all cloud-related issues, ensuring resolution above third-line support.
  • Communicate effectively with third-party contractors, translating technical details when required.
  • Develop new policies aligned with business needs and cloud technologies, ensuring they meet operational requirements.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of business requirements and translate them into technical policies.
  • Lead and advocate for cloud technology advancements within the organization, staying at the forefront of Azure developments.
  • Lead the deployment of complex technical solutions with a focus on precision and accuracy.
  • Effectively translate technical language into business terms for stakeholders and management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Terraform, PowerShell, Azure DevOps.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Strong scripting experience for automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, etc.).
  • Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities.
  • Ability to lead projects and manage complex technical solutions.
