Logistics Coordinator
Location: Daventry
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Salary Range: £26,000 to £29,000 per annum

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive individual with a keen interest in logistics management. This role involves overseeing and optimizing a specific area of our client's commercial vehicle operations while adhering to established transport budgets and performance targets.

Based in Daventry, the successful applicant will join a dedicated team and work under the guidance of an experienced and supportive Logistics Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee drivers and subcontractors from a remote location.
  • Develop and implement a daily fleet schedule by depot.
  • Analyze and enhance work volumes and fleet resource needs.
  • Collaborate with depot operations management.
  • Support daily operational tasks and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Deliver exceptional service to ensure order fulfillment and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Report directly to the Logistics Supervisor and Office Managers.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the Company.
  • Adhere to all Company policies regarding conduct, environmental standards, health and safety, and community engagement.

  • Experience in logistics management, preferably in the recycling sector.
  • Familiarity with KPI reporting to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications / Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of UK geography.
  • Financial acumen related to vehicle and driver cost analysis.
  • Knowledge of providing transport freight estimates.
