Position Title: Waterways Engineering Supervisor

Location: Remote, with travel across various canal networks.

Compensation: £32,400 - £37,000, plus vehicle allowance and additional benefits.

Primary Duties:

  • Evaluate construction activities to ensure adherence to quality standards across projects.
  • Conduct inspections of construction testing and assess contractors' risk evaluations.
  • Deliver weekly updates on construction progress and maintain communication with contractors.
  • Assist in the formulation of contract documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a degree or HNC in engineering.
  • Familiarity with NEC/ECC contractual frameworks.
  • Experience in substantial civil engineering projects.
  • Demonstrated success in contract negotiations.
