About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our team at Allianz Insurance Plc. As a key member of our GRC function, you will play a critical role in supporting the organisation's governance, risk management, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Management:
    • Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyse the potential impact on the organisation.
    • Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
    • Maintain a comprehensive risk register and track risk mitigation activities to completion.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant internal and external regulations, including corporate rules, standards, and industry-specific requirements.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and develop strategies to address them.
    • Work closely with internal and external auditors to facilitate compliance reviews and audits.
    • Develop and maintain documentation for Compliance activities, including policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Governance:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures related to information security, information technology, and risk management.
    • Provide guidance and training to staff on governance, risk, and compliance matters, ensuring a culture of compliance and risk awareness.
    • Monitor and report on compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with various departments to ensure an integrated approach to risk management, control management, and compliance.
    • Communicate risk and compliance issues to senior management and relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
    Requirements
    • Significant experience in GRC, information security, risk management, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in GRC tools and software, with a strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and compliance frameworks.
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
    • Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) or equivalent.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
