Job Title: Deputy Business Advisor

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Business Advisor to join our finance team. As a key member of the team, you will provide financial planning and reporting support to the Business Advisor (Clinical Division) and contribute to the development of business cases and tender responses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial planning and reporting support to the Business Advisor (Clinical Division)
  • Develop and maintain financial plans and budgets for the Division and Service Lines
  • Monitor and forecast expenditure trends and budgetary performance
  • Provide financial advice and training to a wide range of staff
  • Support the Business Advisor (Clinical Division) in undertaking robust financial evaluation of proposed service changes and developments
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and tender responses
  • Manage a small team of staff and provide leadership and guidance
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 O Levels, GCSEs or equivalent (including Maths and English)
  • CCAB qualifications or CIMA
  • Committed to Continuing Professional Development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to plan and prioritise workload and that of others effectively
  • Professional integrity
